Utility Support Systems has an immediate opening to work at our Douglasville, Georgia office. This is a full time employee position with full benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, life and disability insurance, paid time off.

Job Description:
? Incorporate existing MS Access databases into new/existing SQL databases.
? Develop and modify Web-Based programs (VB .net, ASP.net).
? Convert current VB6 applications into VB.Net.
? Develop and Modify operational scripts/programs (VB Script).
? Develop and Modify Web reports (SQL Reporting Services).
? Document all of the above processes.

Requirements:

Skill

The candidate should possess 4-5 years of current hands-on experience with SQL Database Development including:
? Senior level expertise with MS Access, SQL Server 2008, VB .net, ASP.net and VBScript.
? Experience with SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services.
? Experience with administering SQL Server 2008 databases on Windows 2003/2008 servers.
? Experience with migrating MS Access databases to SQL Databases.
? Experience with HTML, XML, Data Access Pages and VBScript.
? Good knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
? Documentation and Technical writing skills, including experience authoring white papers.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education

An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information
Technology or a computer related field, or equivalent work experience.
Technical certifications and/or completion of technical courses a plus.
