AMERICAN BUSINESS WOMEN’S DAY

American Business Women’s Day is observed annually on September 22. It is a day set aside to honor and reflect upon the contributions and accomplishments of the millions of women in the workforce and the millions of women business owners in the U.S.

American Business Women’s Day is a day to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for the to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking and national recognition.

The first American Business Women’s Day was sponsored by the American Business Women’s Association in 1982. It was recognized by Congressional Proclamation in 1983 and 1986.
