CANCELED: Teacher 4 A Day

The Douglas County School System is pleased to announce its annual program in partnership with the Douglas County Chamber, “Teacher 4 A Day.” 

This program will allow members of the community to visit one of the 36 schools in Douglas County and shadow a teacher for a half school day.  School teachers from each grade will be paired with a local member of the community who will experience a typical day in the teacher’s shoes. Participants will not be placed in their children’s classrooms.   
 
Guest teachers will be exposed to the many exciting programs offered in our schools as well as gaining first-hand insight into the challenges that schools face on a daily basis.
