Celebrate You! A Women's Event

The Douglas County Chamber is pleased to announce the 2023 Celebrate YOU! Women’s Event: Living Beyond Burnout presented by WellStar Douglas Hospital.  The event will be held at the Douglasville Conference Center on Thursday, June 8th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Celebrate YOU! is focused on helping women to THRIVE in a space of well-being through self-advocacy, self-care, and self-awareness.

This year’s event will offer a VIP event with exclusive access to our keynote speaker, Jes Averhart, CEO of Jes & Co and Creator of Reinvention Road Trip. Jes has worked with a portfolio of Fortune 500 companies, public sector organizations and high-performing individuals interested in increased personal growth and greater professional impact. She is a 4th generation entrepreneur, creator of Reinvention Road Trip® and 3x award-winning author. She advises high-performing individuals and corporate teams as a leadership development and master certified life coach. With over 20 years of cross-industry corporate engagement, Jes has worked with Research Triangle Park companies, Google for Startups, Fidelity Labs, Cisco, Wells Fargo and Blue Cross Blue Shield to name a few. In 2015, Jes co-founded Black Wall Street Homecoming, a nonprofit aimed at closing the funding gap for Black and Brown tech founders. While earlier in her career, she provided production management services for the likes of the Cincinnati Bengals & Cleveland Browns (NFL), Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA), the Procter & Gamble Company and Pepsi Cola North America.
