The Douglas County Chamber invites you to participate in the NEW 2026 Community Exploration Tour to Woodstock, Georgia – Friday, March 20th!
About the Trip:
This one-day Community Exploration Tour will bring together 40–50 Douglas County business and community leaders for an in-depth look at Woodstock’s growth and development story. Participants will hear directly from the City of Woodstock and Cherokee by Choice on how thoughtful planning, downtown reinvestment, and innovative economic development strategies have shaped the community. The tour will include behind-the-scenes conversations, guided exploration of key redevelopment areas, and peer discussion focused on identifying ideas and strategies that can be adapted to support Douglas County’s continued growth.

Managed growth and long-term planning strategies from the City of Woodstock
Residential and neighborhood development approaches
Downtown Woodstock redevelopment, including housing, the amphitheater, and placemaking that drives its vibrant community atmosphere
