What is stormwater and how does it affect our lives and our community?
Come explore this important topic and more at our informational seminar on Tuesday, May 16th, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at WSA’s Administrative Building on Hospital Drive. The seminar is free and open to any member of the Douglas County community that wants to learn about stormwater and its local impacts. Engineers from The Authority will give you a firsthand look into stormwater in Douglas County, including how we manage it, what environmental effects it may have, and how to take action to be a good steward of our water resources.
Attending the seminar also allows you to earn a credit on the stormwater bill of the local church, homeowners association, civic organization, business, or other non-residential entity of your choosing. Each person that attends for your organization will earn a $2.00 per month credit, up to 20 percent of your total monthly stormwater bill. To RSVP or learn more, please email AskWSA@ddcwsa.com or call (770) 920-3850.
