Kiwanis Club 2018 Kids Christmas Special

Each year the Douglas County Kiwanis Club sponsors the Kids Christmas Special to benefit local elementary school students in our community. This year's event will take place on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Approximately 120 needy children across Douglas County's six elementary schools will be selected to shop at WalMart for themselves and for their families. Each child is allowed to spend $100 and is guided by volunteer community members, including firemen, policemen. local government employees, and Kiwanis Club members.
