Ribbon Cutting and ground breaking ceremonies are a free service that we provide to Chamber Members only. These events offer new business the chance to invite members, the Board of Directors, Diplomats, and City and County officials to their location as well as speak about their business.

Join us as we celebrate the compleition of the first house of "Veterans Place", a community of affordable homes exclusively buildt for military Veterans residing in Douglas County.

NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce the first-ever all Veteran Habitat neighborhood in the state, called “Veterans Place," located in Douglasville.

Plans call for eight homes to be built over four years, with the first two completed in 2018. Veterans Place is located on four acres, which NW Metro Habitat purchased in 2016 from the Douglas County Housing Authority.
