Position:         Executive Director for Curriculum
Location:         Murphy Campus
Department:  Academic Affairs
Reports to:     Vice President for Academic Affairs
FLSA Designation: Exempt
Nature of Duties:
Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Executive Director for Curriculum is responsible for the administration, development and implementation of curricular functions for the College. Responsibilities include oversight, management and execution of the development, approval, review, revision, and publication of program/course curriculum. The Executive Director will work with faculty and administration to develop and assess student learning outcomes and program outcomes. The position will develop, implement, and monitor all curriculum assessment and will provide expertise necessary to successfully complete the accreditation processes for academic programs and other regulatory bodies.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree *and* Five (5) years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in a program related to the fields of education, social science, medical, business, or technical education is strongly preferred;
  • Five years of in-field work experience within the past seven years in higher education administration; 
  • Previous experience in curriculum management in a post-secondary institution;
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and higher education systems such as BANNER Student Database, TK20, EMSI, and/or Knowledge Management System (KMS);
  • Extensive knowledge of the mission of postsecondary vocational/technical education;
  • Extensive knowledge of state and local academic program curricula and course standards;
  • Extensive knowledge of program assessment and strategic planning strategies;
  • Skilled in the delegation of responsibility and authority, interpersonal relations and decision making and problem solving skills.
Salary/Benefits:  Salary high $60s based on qualifications. Benefits include 12 paid state holidays per year; earn 10 hours per month of both vacation and sick leave; participant in state retirement plan; health and flexible benefits available.
