APPLICATION DEADLINE:  4:00 p.m.  Thursday December 21, 2017
 
This is responsible professional work in support of Senior Services case management programs, activities, and events.  The position is responsible for managing the care needs of older adults, including maintaining assessment, development of care plans and ensuring appropriate links between social, recreational, financial, health, and psychological resources within and external to the Senior Services programs. Work is performed under the immediate supervision of the Social Services Supervisor and the employee has considerable independence to manage and complete program assignments.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with major course work in social work, social services, gerontology, health, nursing, or a related field.
  • Two years professional related work experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Office Suite and database software
  • Must have and maintain a valid United States Driver's License (Class C),a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) and the ability and willingness to drive a county vehicle; if assigned job duties require the use of a vehicle
  • Minimum 21 years of age
     
Employment is contingent on passing a mandatory Physical/Drug Screen/MVR and Background Investigation.
 
Salary:  $30,688.94 annual ($14.75 hourly) plus full benefits package
