Job Description
Case Manager
This psoition provides services to the agency Housing programs.  The responsibilities include case coordination in the delivery of direct services to victims of domestic violence.  This position will be repsonsible for determining the elgibility for housing services, performing home visits, assisting with safety planning, goal setting, and follow up services.  The individiual applicant must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.  This position also requires organization and the ability to complete required documents for the housing programs. Applicant must be willing to work as a team member and understand the roles of staff in a small organization.  The case management position duties will change and vary based on agency funding and program requirements.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in social services and or related field.
Excellent computer skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Great people and listening skills
One must have the ability to be patient and to understand the dynamics of family violence.
Understand the importance of working as a Team member.
Excellent documentation skills
Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Applicant must be flexible and understand that roles and responsbilities changes within a small organization based on funding resources.
